(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – There is an update to the crash between four Silver Lake High School students and a school bus.
The most severely injured student's future is still uncertain.
According to the Patriot Ledger, junior Eva Lipton remains unconscious and needs a ventilator to breathe seven weeks after that crash.
The students were driving a quarter-of-a-mile from the school back in March when their BMW crossed a center lane and hit a school bus head-on.
At least two of the students have been released from the hospital. The crash happened on the same day as prom.
Police say it's still under investigation and wouldn't say if anything like texting played a part.
