Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said she plans to run for reelection in 2024, according to a report from Politico on Saturday.

The 71-year-old was asked by a Politico reporter on Friday if she was making the run and simply said, “Yep.”

She spoke to the publication about her new book, “Persist,” in which she writes about a difficult few years and defends some of the positions she made during her 2020 presidential campaign, according to Politico.

Warren ran against Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, among many others. She dropped out of the presidential race in March 2020 after she didn’t win a single Super Tuesday state and finished third in Massachusetts.

In 2012, Warren, of Cambridge, became the first woman elected to represent Massachusetts in the United States Senate.
