Search crews find body of kayaker reported missing in NH

CONCORD, N.H. — Search crews say they've found the body of a kayaker who went missing in the Merrimack River in Concord, New Hampshire.

WMUR-TV reports the kayaker's body was found Friday in about 9 feet of water, a third of a mile from where he was last seen Thursday morning. A name hasn't been released.

Authorities say the man and his brother entered the river at Sewalls Falls and both kayaks overturned. The brother was able to make it to shore safely and found someone who was able to call 911.
