BARRE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One Massachusetts school district is considering the use of a collection agency to recoup $750 in overdue meal payments.
According to the Telegram, a school official told the Quabbin Regional School Committee the administration is prepared to turn to a collection agency.
The newspaper reports 24 students owe lunch money. Some of the students reportedly have $75 in outstanding payments.
Officials said a collection agency would charge nearly 30-percent of the amount owed.
