ROCHESTER, N.H. — Rochester Police have arrested the suspect who they say fired shots at a police officer overnight.
The officer was not hit.
The incident happened when police tried to pull a driver over just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
The suspect had taken off into the woods before police found him.
People who live in the area of Milton Road and the Saks mobile home park were asked to stay in their homes as the search was underway.
Subject in custody. Shelter-in-place is lifted. Still police present for scene processing.
