BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, asking for an investigation, and this time, it's personal. The Boston Herald is reporting the case involves the commissioner's son.
On Tuesday night, a witness told police the driver of a blue truck appeared to be "under the influence" while inside the parking garage at TD Garden. When that driver was pulled over, he identified himself as Davis' son.
According to the Herald, an officer determined that the driver had consumed alcohol.
The Boston Globe says Phillip Davis was not arrested, and prosecutors are deciding whether or not to file any charges.
Davis was reportedly allowed to park his car and was offered a ride home by the officer who pulled him over.
FOX 25 asked Boston Police about the matter and was told it's under investigation. The Suffolk County district attorney is also getting involved.
