HOOKSETT, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two women accused of stealing items from a Walmart store in Hooksett, N.H. were caught by police after attempting to run through a wooded area with two infants.
Police said Sarah Britton, 24, and Crystal Gosselin, 24, both of Manchester, N.H., ran into the woods near a Walmart store on West River Road after they were accused of shoplifting by loss-prevention officers.
The officers told police that the women had babies in strollers with them when they fled.
A short time later an officer in a cruiser saw the women on an unmaintained road in the area. Police said the women attempted to run away through the woods, while pushing the babies in strollers, but were caught a short time later.
Britton and Gosselin were charged with willful concealment, simple assault, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, falsifying physical evidence and resisting arrest.
