Brothers Silvjan Musilli, Euglen Musilli and their father, Jetnor Musilli, were sitting in the parking lot of the Best Western after going to get Burger King following a wedding reception, according to a family member who spoke to police.

The police report states a car drove into the parking lot and haphazardly parked across two spaces with wheels in the grass. In that car, Maitland and a man identified as Sean Perry allegedly began making loud sexual noises. That's when, according to police, one of the brothers loudly said, "get a room."

An altercation followed that involved Silvjan approaching the car and one of the people in the car brandishing a knife, according to the police report. When he said he was calling the police the car began to leave, but officers' reports state the car stopped and Perry got out to fight Silvjan. Police say when Euglen came to his brother's aide to break up the fight, Maitland got out of the car with a large, serrated knife and began slashing at all three.

Her lawyer told Boston 25 News she saw the two men beating her boyfriend and acted in defense. She says the two were not having sex in the truck, but were parked there deciding what to do when the men approached.

According to the police report, Jetnor took the knife from Maitland and was still holding it when police arrived.

The police reports were taken from statements given to officers by witnesses, including Silvjan's wife, Frida Barolli.

According to police, officers searched the car driven by Perry and Maitland and found a sheath for the knife allegedly used during the attack, an empty 375 ML bottle of vodka, a half-empty 750 ML bottle of vodka, two unused doses of naloxone, two empty bottles of root beer-flavored voka nips and a hatchet -- among other things like clothes, hygiene bags and a backpack.

Maitland was arrested and Perry was taken to a hospital. All three Musillis were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Euglen remains hospitalized with slash to the wrist and Silvjan remains hospitalized with a slash to the neck and chest area, police said.
