NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man who is a Level 3 sex offender was arrested after five females between the ages of 12 and 14 say he exposed himself to them outside the Whitin Community Center.
On Wednesday at around 6:40 p.m., police officers responded to the community center, and spoke with the five victims, who reported a man was masturbating on the grounds of the community center, and exposed himself to them.
Officers found Jeffrey Beaumont, 40, a short distance away, after police say he tried to run and hide from them. Beaumont was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness.
Six months ago, Beaumont, who is a registered Level 3 sex offender, finished serving 18 months in the Worcester County House of Correction for open and gross lewdness.
Beaumont was held overnight in the Northbridge Police Department on $5,000 cash bail.
