Police investigating sexual assault near Tavern in the Square Brighton

BOSTON — Police in Brighton say a woman was sexually assaulted in when she got into a car she thought was the ride-sharing service she called.

Boston police tell FOX25 it happened early Saturday morning outside the Tavern in the Square bar on Brighton Avenue.

The victim told police the suspect was another passenger and described him as a black male, in his early 20s, with short hair and a slim build.

He was wearing a long-sleeve flannel shirt.
