Police identify person of interest for Huntington Ave. shooting

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) - Police are asking the public's help in identifying a person of interest in non-fatal shooting near 307 Huntington Ave.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon near Boston House of Pizza around 4:30 p.m. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for life threatening injuries.

A local barber Ali Altiar said, "We heard the shot, we heard three shots."

During the investigation, Boston Police officers learned that a man was seen running away from scene shortly after the shooting. Late Thursday night, police released video of the person they want to talk to.

Police said 307 Huntington Ave. is a federal pre-release residence.
