WORCESTER, Mass — Worcester’s longtime family-owned beverage company is set to take on the rest of the U.S. in a new distribution agreement.
According to a release, the Polar Seltzer company, founded in 1882, is the third largest brand of flavored seltzer in the U.S., despite availability in less then 35 percent of the country.
Polar Seltzer, Polar Seltzer’ade and Polar SeltzerJR brands come in more than 35 varieties and will all be available nation-wide.

Polar and Keurig Dr. Pepper have been partners under a previous manufacturing and distribution agreement.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
