A van struck a pedestrian in Laconia on Union Street Sunday afternoon, said police.
Around 3:50 p.m., the 21-year-old female pedestrian entered the crosswalk with the "walk" symbol. Then a white passenger van, driven by 44-year-old Robert Mahoney, struck her in the southbound lane.
The female was taken to LRGH with injuries, but none apparently serious.
The investigation is ongoing; the driver has not been cited. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be the contributing factors.
