BOSTON — A person was stabbed right outside Boston City Hall early Friday morning.
According to Boston EMS, the stabbing happened at around 5:16 a.m. at City Hall Plaza.
Boston Police tell Boston 25 News the victim suffered multiple stab wounds during the altercation.

The victim, who has only been identified as a man at this point, was transported to Mass General Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the suspect fled on foot, but no description was made available.
Authorities are now reviewing surveillance cameras and speaking to possible witnesses.
There is no word on any arrests at this point.
The incident remains under investigation.
