PORTLAND, Oregon (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Five-year-old Julianna Snow has spent much of her short life suffering from an incurable disease.
Spinal muscular atrophy kills many patients before age two. Little Julianna could live a bit longer, but it would mean more painful treatments.
Julianna's parents asked her if she wanted to go back to the hospital the next time she gets sick or stay at home, even though it means "going to heaven without mommy and daddy."
Julianna chose heaven.
Her parents, though heartbroken, are honoring her dying request.
