LYNN, Mass. — The Essex County District Attorney’s Office has identified the victim of Saturday’s fatal shooting in Lynn, according to a release from the DA. That victim is Bryan Omar Mendez, 25, whose last known address was in Worcester.
The DA, along with state and local police, are investigating after the fatal shooting occurred on early-morning Saturday. Lynn Police were told shots had been fired in the area of Lander and Howard Streets just after 5 a.m. on Saturday.

At the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, who was later identified as Mendez. He was brought to Salem Hospital where he later died.
No arrests have been made and the homicide remains under investigation.
