NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- North Andover Police stopped an armed bank robbery in progress Friday.
Several alarms were triggered at the Santander Bank on Chickering Road Friday afternoon. When police arrived they were able to catch the suspected robber as he was walking out the door. He's been identified as 38-year-old Ahron Coates of Newton, N.H.
There is no word on if anyone inside the bank was hurt.
Coates is being charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to murder.
