Norfolk Co. Agricultural HS teacher accused of texting scandal with student

WALPOLE, Mass. — State officials are investigating after a Norfolk County Agricultural High School teacher was accused of sending text messages to one of her students in Walpole.

The Superintendent of Norfolk County Agricultural High School said, in part, that the school is currently working with authorities to determine if the allegations are true.

The teacher has since been place on administrative leave.

The Department of Children and Families and the district attorney are investigating the incident, police say.

The text messages were allegedly sent between a female teacher at Norfolk Agricultural High School and a male student.

Walpole Police say they initiated the investigation, and notified the Department of Children and Families and the Norfolk County district attorney's office after they were told about the incident.

Police say the next step is for the district attorney's office to determine if any criminal misconduct took place.
