New push for witnesses in deadly mansion shooting

LYNNFIELD, Mass. — It's been nearly two weeks since a man was shot and killed at a party in Lynnfield, and no arrests have been made.

According to the Boston Globe, Lynnfield's police chief is making another public plea for tips.

The Globe reports that, according to court documents, dozens of partygoers ran and drove away from the home after someone shot 33-year-old Keivan Heath twice in the chest. Heath was left for dead near the pool.

Some of the fleeing partygoers reportedly cursed at responding officers as they ran.

The owner of the mansion said he rented out his $3.3 million home to people who claimed they were organizing a small college reunion party with no more than two dozen people.

Police say more than 100 people ended up at the party, including two off-duty Boston Police officers who are said to be cooperating with the investigation.

Heath's funeral is Thursday. He leaves behind two children.

Anyone who was at the party is asked to come forward right away to Lynnfield or State Police investigators to help that family find justice.
