New England's Unsolved: Holly Piirainen's murder

Forensic findings have resulted in new investigative leads into the 1993 killing of 10-year-old Holly Piirainen.

Holly Piirainen was visiting her grandmother in Sturbridge on Aug. 5, 1993 when she vanished. Her remains were found in Brimfield two months later.

FOX 25's Bob Ward has been covering this unsolved case since the beginning. He spoke with Holly's family members and those familiar with the case in 2000 when he featured the little girl's story on his New England's Unsolved segment.
