NAPLES, Italy — Pope Francis got a special delivery Sunday: a fresh Naples-style pizza.
Enzo Cacialli, co-owner of Pizzeria Don Ernesto, decided to make the pie after hearing that the pope recently said he'd like to go to a pizzeria "without being recognized," CNN reports.
The thin-crust pizza was topped with dough in the shape of the words "Il Papa."
On Sunday, Cacialli hand-delivered the pie as the Popemobile passed through Naples.
"I gave him the pizza and with a smile he said, 'Thank you,'" said Cacialli, who added that his father once made a pizza for former President Bill Clinton.
