BOSTON, Mass. — A night on the town didn’t go as planned for a couple in Boston. They made a splash while tearing up the dance floor at the Boston Harbor Hotel Tuesday night as a live band played the song ‘Footloose.’
Cell phone video shows the man try to dip the woman, but they lost their footing, tumbled over the wire barrier and landed in the water.
Alex Day, who captured the video, said people threw floatation devices to the couple and they eventually got out of the water. They were not hurt.
“After I got the video, all of the waitress staff came up to me, just looking at my phone because they wanted to watch the video,” Day told Boston 25 News. “One of the people said they were waiting all summer for that to happen and I made their night because I caught it on video.”
Boston 25 News is working to get in touch with the couple. If you know who they are, contact us.
