WEST WARWICK, R.I. — Members of the Station Fire Memorial Foundation will gather Monday to mark 14 years since 100 people were killed inside the nightclub.
On Feb. 20, 2003, pyrotechnics at a Great White show sparked a fire inside the Station Nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
Within minutes the building filled with smoke and flames, trapping people inside.
Family members of the victims and survivors of the fire will gather at the site of the fire to remember the victims.
The Station Fire Memorial Foundation is trying to raise $2 million to turn the site into a park.
