WESTWOOD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A male victim sustained life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash that occurred on Route 128 at Route 1 in Westwood on Monday.
State Police responded to the southbound side of Route 128 at Route 1 in Westwood around 4 p.m. on Monday for reports of a single motorcycle crash.
A 39-year-old man from Stoughton was traveling southbound on Route 128 at Route 1 when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed off the shoulder of the roadway. He was transported by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
At the time of the investigation, State Police closed the breakdown lane, right, and middle travel lanes for approximately one hour while they completed their investigation.
The facts and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
