BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- An MBTA operator was transported to the hospital Saturday after a crash involving a Green Line trolley and a car.
MBTA officials tell FOX 25 the crash occurred at the intersection of St. Paul Street and Commonwealth Avenue just after 7 p.m.
Preliminary reports suggest the car made an illegal left-hand turn and struck a B Line trolley. The trolley operator was the only person transported. Their injuries are unknown.
Shuttle buses replaced Green Line trolleys between Packards Corner and Blandford. Regular service resumed just before 8:30 p.m.
