(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has left Massachusetts

Tsarnaev was confirmed to be at the Florence US Penitentiary in Colorado on Thursday afternoon. [if gte mso 9]>
On Wednesday, he was formally sentenced to die by execution after a sentencing hearing. At the hearing, more than 24 people, family members of victims as well as survivors, gave victim impact statements.

Tsarnaev also spoke, apologizing to the victims and survivors.
