MANCHESTER, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Manchester, NH police made several arrests after a prostitution sting Thursday night.
The sting was executed at Enright Park, located near Laurel and Lincoln Streets. Police say that area is a concern for residents because many of the prostitutes are battling addiction, which can lead to needles being left behind in city parks.
During the sting, an undercover officer walking the streets around the park was approached by a man who solicited her for sex. About two hours later, a man driving a black Mercedes stopped to talk to an undercover officer and offered her sexual favors.
Both men, Michael Deblasi, 68, and Winston Varnie, 34, of Manchester were arrested.
They were later released on $500 personal recognizance and are due in court in early September.
