ANDOVER, Mass. — A man is dead following a single motorcycle accident in Andover.
According to police, a jogger called 911 at around 5:30 a.m. to report a motorcyclist had crashed into a utility pole.
Andover Police and Fire responded to the crash in the intersection of Whittier and Elm streets.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are asking people to avoid the area for the next couple of hours as officials continue their work.
The incident remains under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
