BOSTON — A Dorchester man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a local hotel, police said on Wednesday.
Officers with the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested 25-year-old Brian Joyce of Dorchester in connection to the shooting death of 27-year-old Marcus Dunn-Gordon, of Randolph.
Joyce was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire for an active warrant out of Dorchester District Court for murder.
At around 11:46 p.m. on Monday, Boston Police officers were dispatched to the area of 800 Morrissey Boulevard for reports of a person shot.
At the scene, officers found Dunn-Gordon lying on the ground inside the hotel lobby of the Ramada Hotel, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
