Malcolm X’s journey from troubled youth to civil rights icon is being told just miles from his childhood home in Roxbury.
Part opera, part stage production, ”X, The Life and Times of Malcolm X” will be performed for one night only at the Strand Theater on Friday. June 17.
It’s part of Odyssey Opera and the Boston Modern Opera Project.
Singer and Roxbury native, Victor Robinson spoke with Boston 25 Crystal Haynes about the production on Boston 25 Morning News on Saturday.
