Woman found guilty of murder in 2018 stabbing death of Westminster man

Julia Enright, 2018

WORCESTER — A woman charged in the 2018 stabbing death of a 20-year-old Westminster man has been found guilty of second-degree murder.

Jurors in the trial of Julia Enright, now 24, deliberated for about two days before returning their verdict.

Enright’s victim, Brandon Chicklis was last seen by his family on June 23, 2018. His body was discovered weeks later on the side of Route 119 in Rindge, N.H.

Investigators said Chicklis’ blood was found in Enright’s car and in a tree house located right next to her property, which is down a long, private driveway in Ashburnham.

“This case involved nearly 240 exhibits and more than 45 witnesses from multiple jurisdictions,” said District Attorney Joseph Early, who credited prosecutors for their work on the case.

Enright will be sentenced by Worcester Superior Court Judge Daniel Wrenn on January 18, 2022.
