WATCH: Video shows highway crash and brawl on I-95 in Pawtucket

New video captures a wild crash and fight in the middle of I-95 in Rhode Island last month.

The crash happened in Pawtucket around 5:30 a.m. on July 5.

Video released by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation shows a car veering off the highway, hitting a pole and rolling over onto the grass.

A large crowd of people then began brawling in the middle of the roadway after the crash and near multiple damaged cars.

Before the crash occured happened, troopers heard calls of car meet-ups in surrounding cities.

Several people went to the hospital.

In Massachusetts, there’s a zero-tolerance policy for illegal street takeovers and unauthorized car meetups after several cases of violence.
