WATCH: Video shows black bear looking for snack in Sharon yard

SHARON, Mass. — A hungry black bear has been making his presence felt in one Norfolk County town.

Sharon Police say they’ve received numerous reports of broken bird feeders knocked over on Furnace Street and Gavins Pond Road behind Shaw’s Plaza.

On Sunday, they finally captured video of the suspect sniffing around a backyard area on Furnace Street looking for food.

Wildlife officials say removing food sources and other attractants in your yard is a good way to prevent an unwanted encounter with a bear.
