Town-by-town totals: Here’s how much snow has fallen in Massachusetts

BOSTON — While the main concern for Massachusetts is ice, some communities have seen more than five inches of snowfall.

The highest snowfall totals have been reported in the Merrimack Valley, Worcester County, and the North Shore.

Southeastern Massachusetts was seeing mostly sleet and rain.

Temperatures are expected to drop throughout, leading to icy conditions.

Here are some of the snow reports so far today, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Haverhill - 5.8 inches
  • Newburyport - 5.8 inches
  • Amesbury - 5.3 inches
  • North Andover - 5 inches
  • North Reading - 5 inches
  • Ipswich - 5 inches
  • Topsfield - 5 inches
  • Pepperell - 4.5 inches
  • Westminster - 4.5 inches
  • Burlington - 4.4 inches
  • Hawley - 4.2 inches
  • Lunenburg - 4.1 inches
  • Andover - 4 inches
  • Tewksbury - 4 inches
  • Chelmsford - 4 inches
  • Danvers - 4 inches
  • Fitchburg - 4 inches
  • Leominster - 4 inches
  • Townsend - 3.6 inches
  • Gloucester - 3.5 inches
  • Hubbardston - 3.3 inches
  • Ashby - 3.3 inches
  • Ayer - 3.1 inches
  • Petersham - 3.1 inches
  • Lowell - 3 inches
  • Sterling - 3 inches
  • Lexington - 3 inches
