BOSTON — Teddy, a Goldendoodle is ready to start looking for his new home!
The 3-year-old pup has been recovering for nearly a month from a fractured leg and deep wound on his other leg after being hit by a car, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said.
“Teddy still has a ways to go in his recovery, but the MSPCA’s Boston Adoption Center is hoping that one special family will step up to help him on that journey,” says MSPCA.
The animal welfare agency posted a photograph of Teddy wearing a blue cast on his right leg.
The organization is looking for adopters willing to foster Teddy in their home before he is officially adopted. They say Teddy will need to be brought into an MSPCA shelter for weekly appointments to change his bandages and check to make sure he’s healing properly.
“Even with this scary and painful experience, Teddy’s spirit has not dampened,” the MSPCA said. “He moves around well, and he’s an incredibly sweet boy.”
Anyone interested in fostering-to-adopt Teddy or other animals in need visit the MSPCA website.
