RECALL ALERT: Wegmans recalling select Wegmans brand precut fruits

Supermarket chain Wegmans is announcing a recall of select Wegmans brand precut fruits.

The reason for the recall is “possible bacterial contamination with Listeria monocytogenes,” according to the alert on the company’s website.

The following fruits may be impacted:

• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Watermelon Chunks 10oz
• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Small Watermelon Hearts 24oz
• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Watermelon Chunks Family Pack 32oz
• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Pineapple Spears Family Pack 32oz
• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Cantaloupe Spears Family Pack 32oz
• Wegmans Brand FYFGA Melon Trio Family Pack 32oz
