FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Two brothers are now accused in the murder of a Framingham man on Saturday.
One of those men, Aaron Sutton, was arrested Tuesday in Framingham.
HIs brother, Eugene Sutton is wanted, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, who says Eugen Sutton should be considered ‘armed and dangerous.”
The victim, 34-year-old Eric Hargett was found after police received a 9-1-1- call at 1:19 a.m. on Saturday that a man had been shot inside a residence on Hayes Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Hargett dead. District Attorney Ryan said Hargett had been slashed and shot in the head.
Investigators say fugitive Eugene Sutton is about 5′8″ tall with a scar and a tattoo of a shotgun on his left forearm.
The DA says Sutton is known to frequent both the Boston and Framingham areas. The Sutton brothers are both from Framingham.
The DA says the victim and the Suttons had agreed to a meeting over the phone and that shots were fired a short time after the brothers arrived at a rooming house on Hayes Street.
“I’m exceedingly concerned about the level of gun violence that we’re seeing across the county. As many of you know, this is one of 4 homicides, all by gun, that we have had recently,” said District Attorney Ryan.
Investigators say the brothers robbed Hargett of money and other items.
Both face charges of murder, armed robbery and other charges.
