Canton Police said Ryan Lahiff was last seen around midday Wednesday and search teams had been looking for him in wooded areas in Canton, near walking paths that Lahiff frequented. He had lived in Canton for the past year and previously lived in Dedham.
Police said that Lahiff’s body will be examined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, but that it does not appear foul play was involved at this time.
The 19-year-old, who attended college at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, was 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighed about 180 lbs. He had last been seen wearing red sweatpants, a gray T-shirt, black sneakers and a black backpack.
Ryan Lahiff was found dead. Foul play isn’t expected, but the cause & manner of death will be determined by an autopsy. He was only 19. @DeputyRafferty said it best, “Keep this young teen and his family in your thoughts, and hug the teens/children in your life a little tighter." https://t.co/OpKJ73iLeK
