DRACUT, Mass. — Three juveniles were seriously injured in a rollover crash in Dracut early Saturday morning, police said.
Around 2:30 a.m., Dracut Police received a 911 call for a reported rollover crash near the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Doyle Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders saw a utility pole with significant damage and a motor vehicle that had rolled onto its side, Dracut Police Chief Peter Bartlett said in a statement.
Officers saw a juvenile male lying in the roadway “with significant trauma,” Bartlett said. The male, who police believe was the driver of the vehicle, was sent to a local hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. His condition was not known Saturday.
First responders also pulled a juvenile female from the vehicle and found another juvenile female leaning against the vehicle. Both girls were treated at the scene and then sent by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
State Police and Dracut Police are investigating the crash.
