EXETER, N.H. — Officials in New Hampshire have announced that they have located and returned to custody an inmate that escaped Tuesday afternoon. The inmate, George J. Moses, was last seen in the area of Bayberry Lane in Exeter, N.H. around 1:30 p.m.
Moses was being treated for medical reasons when he escaped from the custody of Rockingham County Jail Corrections Officers, according to officials. He was being held at Rockingham County Jail on 2nd Degree Assault, Criminal Threatening, and Domestic Violence-related charges, according to jail officials.
Local and N.H. State Police searched in Exeter for the escaped inmate. Officials had asked the public not to approach Moses, but to instead call 911, if he was seen.
