MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H. — Multiple children were taken to the hospital after a lightning strike at a New Hampshire summer camp Friday.
The children were sheltering inside a cabin at Camp Tecumseh in Moultonborough when a bolt of lightning struck outside around 3:20 p.m., according to the Moultonborough Fire Department.
None of them were struck by the bolt but some reported not feeling well. After getting checked out by camp medical staff they were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
Founded in 1903, Camp Tecumseh is a residential camp for boys ages 8-16 located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
