DENNIS, Mass — A search and rescue operation is underway after a group of boaters reportedly crashed their vessel into a jetty in Dennis Friday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
At least one of the boaters may be missing and others on the vessel have reportedly been injured after colliding with a jetty near Cold Storage Beach, MSP says.
The water search is being conducted by the US Coast Guard, the Barnstable County Dive Team, and Sandwich Fire marine assets. The Dennis Fire Department has incident command and MSP troopers are assisting on the ground.
