Train service near Boston University was paused after an MBTA Green Line train and car collided near the BU Bridge Wednesday afternoon.
Traffic cameras caught the mangled dark blue car wedged near the front of the train.
No one was injured in the crash. The driver told Boston 25 that he was trying to make a left-hand turn and didn’t see the train.
Despite the accident, the driver’s Thanksgiving spirit wasn’t diminished.
“We’re all safe, we’re happy and healthy. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We’ve got the turkey in the trunk, we’re gonna have fun!” the driver exclaimed.
According to the MBTA, train service was suspended between Blandford Street and Babcock Street and between Packard’s Corner and Kenmore Square immediately after the crash.
Service between Packard’s Corner and Kenmore resume at approximately 5:17 p.m.

Several police cruisers responded to the scene.
