Massachusetts man plans on buying car, new phone after winning $4M prize on $10 scratch-off ticket

BREWSTER, Mass — A Massachusetts man recently won a $4M prize on a $10 scratch-off ticket.

Adam Dewitt of Brewster won $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Diamonds” $10 instant ticket game.

Dewitt opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).

He plans to use a portion of his winnings to buy a car and a new phone.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Cumberland Farms located at 2639 Main St. in Brewster.

The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for the sale of this ticket.
