MA Most Wanted Fugitive surrenders to police, in custody

WORCESTER, Mass. — Jeffery Beltre-Rojas, who was placed on the Massachusetts Most Wanted Fugitives list back in late July, is currently in custody after turning himself into Worcester Police on Monday, Boston 25′s Bob Ward has learned.

Beltre-Rojas, 27, was wanted for his role in a fatal shooting at 6 Mt. Pleasant St. in Worcester on July 9, 2020. The victim survived the initial attack but died from his injuries in February 2021.

“He has shown the inclination to have the willingness to take someone else’s life,” said MA State Police Col. Christopher Mason back in late July. “And the public should be very apprehensive about dealing with him directly.”
