BOSTON — Those flying to spend time with loved ones this holiday season should be prepared for a hectic, wet and stormy travel period.
As Massachusetts braces for a storm that may produce gusts of up to 65 miles per hour, Logan Airport is telling holiday travelers to be prepared for system-wide disruptions on Thursday and Friday.
According to the airport, many airlines are waiving change fees. They also advise flyers to keep an eye on their flight statuses.

A coastal flood watch is in effect for portions of eastern, northeastern, and southeastern Massachusetts from late Thursday night through Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
