WALTHAM — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a call for an unresponsive 5-month-old in a Leitha Drive home last Thursday.
That infant later died.
According to Waltham police, When responders first arrived the infant was already not breathing. Efforts to revive them at a local hospital were unsuccessful.
Additionally; according to the Middlesex district attorney’s office, the child did not live at the home and the Office of Early Education and Care tells Boston 25 they were notified of the incident and potentially unlicensed care at the address.
The investigation is open and ongoing.
