FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — State, county and local law enforcement officials are investigating the death of a 28-year-old woman who was found dead in her apartment Tuesday morning in Framingham, according to a release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
That woman, who has not been identified, was found dead in her home on Worcester Road in the town at 8:37 a.m. Tuesday. Officials said she was found, “with obvious trauma.” Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
“Investigators are in the very early stages of the investigation and have not yet made a determination about whether or not this is an isolated incident,” the DA’s release said.

State and local police are investigating, along with the DA’s office. The state’s Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Officials are also asking that anyone who witnessed anything unusual in the area of 1640 Worcester Rd. or near the Halstead Apartment complex Tuesday morning call Framingham Police at (508) 532-5911 or (508) 872-1212.
