Five transported to hospital after rollover crash in Revere; driver charged with OUI

REVERE, Mass. — Five people were transported to the hospital after a rollover crash in Revere overnight.

At around 2:11 a.m., authorities were dispatched to the area of 40 Squire Road on the report of a motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles, which one that had rolled over.

Police found a four-car motor vehicle accident, one of which had rolled-over onto its roof.

An initial investigation appears to indicate that the vehicle which caused the accident entered Squire Round from Brown Circle at a high rate of speed, crossed the center median, then struck multiple vehicles on Squire Road.

Five parties were transported to the hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.

The operator of the vehicle, 29-year-old Mario Valente Aguilar of Somerville, will be charged with operating under the influence and reckless operation.
