ACTON, Mass. — An elderly couple was uninjured on Saturday after their vehicle crashed into an Acton business, authorities announced.
According to Acton Police and Fire, crews responded around 3:35 PM to a business at 344 Great Road after receiving reports of a vehicle crash into the building.
Once there, crews found a 2011 Jaguar Sedan had gone through the front of the building and remained stationary inside.
The driver, an 83-year-old woman, and her 88-year-old male passenger were uninjured.
“A request for immediate threat to suspend or revoke the operator’s license has been submitted to the Registry of Motor Vehicles,” authorities said.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported. The car was removed from the store, which will be closed for the time being for repairs.
The crash remains under investigation.
